Witness the enthralling beauty of Kaptai Lake in a serene boat tour with ‘Promodini Boat Life Experience’. This tour will let you enjoy a unique and luxurious private house boating experience on the breathtaking Kaptai Lake. The luxurious houseboats have air-conditioning facilities, a spacious lounge, and all sorts of modern amenities.
2days & 1night
8:00 AM – Arrival at Rangamati Town
- Arrive at Rangamati by private car or local transport.
- Meet Promodini crew at the designated jetty point near Reserve Bazaar.
- Welcome drinks and briefing about the journey.
9:00 AM – Boarding & Boat Cruise Begins
- Set sail on Kaptai Lake. Enjoy the tranquil beauty of calm waters surrounded by rolling hills.
- Light breakfast on the boat (local pitha, fruits, tea/coffee).
11:00 AM – Visit to Chakma Village
- Stop at a nearby indigenous village.
- Interact with locals, explore traditional bamboo houses, and learn about Chakma culture.
- Optional: shop handmade crafts or textiles.
1:00 PM – Onboard Lunch
- Enjoy a freshly prepared lunch featuring hill-style dishes: local fish curry, rice, bamboo shoot fry, and seasonal vegetables.
2:30 PM – Leisure on Deck / Swimming (optional)
- Relax on the deck with a book or take a refreshing swim in a calm cove (safety jackets provided).
- Photography session of the lake and surroundings.
4:00 PM – Hidden Island or Waterfall Stop (seasonal)
- Visit a lesser-known island or nearby seasonal waterfall spot.
- Light hiking or walk around.
6:00 PM – Sunset Views & Evening Snacks
- Watch the sun set over the lake from the rooftop deck.
- Enjoy tea and local snacks (banana fritters, fried chana, etc.).
7:30 PM – Candlelight Dinner Onboard
- Romantic dinner setup with indigenous-inspired cuisine under the stars.
- Cultural storytelling or light tribal music (optional experience).
9:00 PM – Overnight Stay in Boat Cabin
- Rest in a cozy private cabin.
- Calm waters and soft lake breeze for a perfect night’s sleep.
6:00 AM – Sunrise & Morning Cruise
- Wake up early to a misty sunrise on the lake.
- Light morning walk on a nearby hill (optional).
- Freshly brewed tea/coffee served on deck.
8:00 AM – Traditional Breakfast
- Breakfast includes ruti/paratha, egg curry, hill honey, fruits, and tea.
9:30 AM – Visit Rajban Bihar (Optional)
- Stop by the famous Buddhist temple Rajban Vihara if route permits.
- Learn about Buddhist culture in the Chittagong Hill Tracts.
11:00 AM – Return Cruise to Jetty
- Slowly cruise back towards Rangamati town, soaking in the final views.
- Photo sessions and farewell moments.
12:30 PM – Disembark at Jetty
- Tour ends with warm goodbyes from the Promodini team.
